Ronaldinho, Messi and Giuly the key
to triumph
Barça hopes to continue to lead the
league
Some come from losing, others from winning and both with the intention
of fighting in the day's derby. On Sunday, Real Madrid and F.C Barcelona
will face each other in the Santiago Bernabeu, when more than a game
efor points, the pride and following of the clubs and players are at
stake.
Real Madrid start out as favourites. The team has grown since it paralysed
Steaua, and Mijatovic, the whites sports manager, assures that his club
is in a better frame of mind than Barcelona. For his part, the coach,
Fabio Capello, will not have Ronaldo in the squad due to a ratified
sanction, or Guti due to injury, but he recovers Reyes and is prepared
to show the results of a job he started months ago.
Rijkaard's men are prepared to give their all in the game, and although
the line-up is unknown, it is possible that the barrier created by Puyol,
Thuram and Marquez will reinforce the defence; in the centre there is
discussion between Xavi or Iniesta taking to the field, and as forwards,
the 'mister' might stake on the powerful combination of Ronaldinho,
Messi and Giuly, which would wear down Madrid and give Barça the opportunity
to gain its so-desired victory.
